In Matthew 28:19 our Lord gave a commission to all His followers: “Go ye therefore and make disciples of all nations…”. To discharge part of that responsibility, Fellowship Bible Church has established GoYe Ministries. GoYe Ministries is the mission arm of Fellowship Bible Church that facilitates the planting of churches. Members of the body who feel a call of God to the mission field and who receive required training and experience can be ordained as missionaries to specific fields where God has called them. Experienced missionaries may be placed to work alone or in teams to plant churches, or inexperienced missionaries may be placed under the mentorship of experienced missionaries.
The Administrative Board of Go Ye Ministries provides administrative oversight of the missionaries by serving as employer, providing a tax exempt entity to receive donations for the work, and providing salary services, financial accountability and distribution of funds. It also provides spiritual oversight of the ministry by acting as a sending church, providing prayer support and spiritual accountability, and acting to give advice on general problems, practical issues, and direction on the field.
Currently there are two missionary families under GoYe Ministries.
If you are interested in supporting these church planting efforts or would like more information, please contact Assistant Pastor, James Elliott at the church office (830) 515-5960.
